2011 OBITUARY: Jeanette Clark Garriott, 102, passed away Monday, Feb 14, 2011, at Victoria House. Mrs Garriott was of the Presbyterian faith and a schoolteacher for many years in the Louisville and Indianapolis school systems, retiring in 1973. She was a member of various bridge clubs, but most of all, she enjoyed the company of her great-grandchildren.
Born Aug 15, 1908, in Seymour, she was the daughter of George A and Josephine Leininger Clark, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Colin W Garriott, who preceded her in death in January 1957.
Survivors include a son, John (Mary Ann) Garriott, Brookfield; two grandchildren, Heather Cigoi and Christina DeJulia; and four great-grandchildren, Abbey, Micah, Katie and Giuliana.
She was preceded in death by a son, James Garriott, and three sisters, Helen, Harriett and Charlotte.
A private memorial service will be held Saturday at Victoria House, Austintown, Ohio.
Friends may call from 7 pm to 8 pm Friday at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
