     1900 Humboldt, Allen Co, KS census: has (all b. KY) Jordon Barrackman 48; Lelia Barrackman 45 (2 children-2 living); and Fanny Barrackman 20.

    1928 OBITUARY: Jordan Barrackman, one of Allen County and Humboldt's oldest citizens, passed away at his home Tuesday morning, Feb 21, 1928, at the age of 76. Funeral services were held this afternoon from the home of his half brother, MS Barrackman.
     Mr Barrackman was a native of Kentucky and came to Allen County some forty or more years ago. He was a farmer and cattle dealer. For seven years he was a postmaster of Humboldt. His wife died about 2 years ago. Since that time his health has gradually failed until the end, which came Tuesday morning. His daughter, Fanny W Barrackman-Rogers graduated from the Humboldt High School in 1898.
