1972 OBITUARY: John Francis Garriott, 83, of Pine Village died at 5:30 pm Sunday in Lake View Memorial Hospital, Danville, IL. He had been in failing health 10 years and was a patient one week in Williamsport Community Hospital before entering Lake View Memorial a week ago. He was born and educated in Jasper County and lived in Benton County eight years before moving to Warren County 40 years ago. A retired farmer, he was married in 1911 to Ethel Strain who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Leon of Oxford, and Perry of Attica; a brother, Roscoe of Williamsport, and a sister, Carrie Walker of Hammond.
