     1991 OBITUARY: Crothersville -- Pearl Collins 93, former of 404 Oak St. died Friday at Huntsville Hospital at Huntsville, AL. She was the former Pearl Garriott, an elementary school teacher and member of the Indiana Retired Teacher's Association and First Baptist Church. Survivors: three sons, Richard Collins of Muncie, Don Collins of Huntsville, Phil Collins of Floyds Knob; a brother Gerald Garriott of Leesburg, FL; two sisters, Mabel Collins of Salem and Eva Jenkins of Frankfort; nine grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild.

     2011 OBITUARY: Muncie -- Lorma J Collins, 82, passed away Thursday evening, July 21, 2011, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born November 14, 1928, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Lorrenz and Thelma Starkey Fox. Mrs Collins moved to Muncie in 1961 and was employed at Sears Roebuck and Company until her retirement.
     Surviving are her son, Gary D Collins (wife-Jeanne), Muncie; her daughter, Pamela S Miller (husband-Tom), Muncie; eight grandchildren, Brandon Miller, Brent Miller (wife-Kacie), Bryan Miller (wife-Kaci), Jennifer Johnson (husband-Albert), Wendy White (husband-Zach), Jeremy Collins (fiancé-Amber Justice), Jeffrey Collins, and Kelbe Collins (fiancée-Julie Matthews); nine great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Cecilia, Nora, Brooke, Haley, Allie, Zoe, Ava and Brady; her sister, Judy Smith, Lebanon; her brother, Junior Isaacs, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
     She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard G Collins, who died in 1997; her son, David Collins; two grandsons, David Collins, Jr, and AJ Collins; her sister, Dorothy Koopman; and two brothers, Carl Fox and Gene Isaacs.
     Services will be 1 pm Monday at Parson Mortuary with Pastor John Malzhan officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until service time at 1 pm Monday at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be sent to Cancer Services of East Central Indiana-Little Red Door, the American Cancer Society or the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
