     2007 OBITUARY: Velma Joanne "Jo" Hake Garriott, 76, of Shelley, died August 27, 2007, at her home. She was born November 7, 1930, in Hartville, Missouri, the daughter of Harry Enos Hake and Olgallaete Krause Hake. She grew up and attended schools in Hartville, Missouri; Shoshone, Idaho; and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1947. She also attended Idaho State University. She married Milton Hartert Garriott in 1953, in Winnemucca, Nevada. She worked for Woolworth's Department Store, the telephone company, and the Post Register. She traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe with her husband, who was in the US Army. Joanne was a devoted mother and homemaker for her family, and served as a volunteer for the United Methodist Church in Shelley.
     Survivors: Son: Michael Henry (Kay) Garriott, New Market, AL; Son: Morgan Tius Garriott, Idaho Falls, ID; Son: Mark Hartert (Cynthia) Garriott, Idaho Falls, ID; 3 Grandchildren & 3 Great Grandchildren.
     She was preceded by her parents; her husband; sisters Dorliss and Arliss; and son Milton Tracy Garriott. Funeral Services held August 31, 2007, at Wood Funeral Home, Pastor Davey Lefler of Shelley United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Fielding Memorial Park. Velma Joanne "Jo" HAKE is the daughter of Harry Enos Hake and Olgallaete KRAUSE. Velma Joanne HAKE married Milton Hartert GARRIOTT in 1953 Winnemucca Nevada.

     2011 OBITUARY: Clifton Keith Garriott, 85, passed away at his home in Idaho Falls of causes incident to age. He was born in Waltham, MN, to Henry Ferrel Garriott and Florence Livingston. The family moved to Idaho Falls when he was six years old. He served in the Navy during World War II. He married Donna Ilean Jenkins on February 20, 1945, in Dillon, MT. Most recently, he worked as an Equipment Operator and Supervisor for H-K Contractors until his retirement. He was one of the original employees of Hartwell Excavating.
     Surviving: Donna, his loving wife of 66 years. Children: Jill Ann (Bard) Heileson of Iona; Danny Clifton Garriott of Idaho Falls; Bruce (Kenda) Garriott of Idaho Falls/ Grandchildren: T C (Amber) Garriott, Andrea (Tyler) Pettingill, Dustin Garriott, Josh Heileson, Aimee (Matt) Stanger, Stephanie (David) Healea, and Nick (Jamie) Garriott. He was preceded by his parents, brother Milton Garriott, sister Eileen Anderson, and granddaughter Haley Heileson. Funeral Services were held April 30, 2011.
