     1962 OBITUARY: Ancil Garriott, 53, a native of Neodesha died last Tuesday from injuries received the previouus day in a fall from a 95 foot scaffold in Ponca City, OK. Garriott was employed in the Tank building there.
     Survivors include his wife Kate; twin sons, Leo and Lee; one daughter, Sharon; his father, W M Garriott of Neodesha; a brother, Jack of Albuquerque, NM, a sister, Mrs Sunshine Faire of Wichita; three step sisters, Mrs Ruth Greer and Mrs Shirley Padly of Neodesha and Mrs Rosemary Fitzmorris of Parsons and two step brothers, RM Patchin of Van Nuys, Calif, and E E Elkins of Neodesha.

     1968 OBITUARY: Graveside services were held at 11 am Monday for William Milton Garriott, 86, who died Friday at 11:15 pm at the Golden Keys Nursing Home. The Rev ER Verbeck conducted the services which were under the direction of the Davis Memorial Chapel. Interment was at Neodesha Cemetery.
     William Milton Garriott, son of John and Mary (Cochren) Garriott, was born November 27, 1881 at Half Rock, MO. He was married to the late Alfa Omego Norton.
     He is survived by a daughter, Mrs Sunshine Marie Faire, Neodesha; three step-daughters, Mrs Ruth Greet and Mrs Shirley Padley, Neodesha, and Mrs Rosemary Fitzmorris, Parsons; and a step-son, Robert Patchin, Reseda, CA; a sister, Mrs Rhoda Snapp, Trenton, MO; a brother, Tad F Garriott, San Jose, CA, and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two sons and one step-son.

     1999 OBITUARY: Sunshine Faire, Neodesha — Graveside services were conducted this morning at the Neodesha Cemetery for Sunshine Marie Faire, 78, of Neodesha. Loran Fawcett Funeral Home was in charge.
     Mrs Faire died Wednesday at Mercy Hospital in Independence. She was born March 2, 1921, in Neodesha, to William M and Alpha (Norton) Garriott. She attended Neodesha High School, and worked for 16 years for a Ponca City, OK, grocery store.
     Survivors include a son, Lynn Faire, St Joseph, MO; a daughter, Pat Thompson, Birmingham, AL; and three grandchildren.
     Graveside services were held Thursday, Dec. 30, at the Neodesha City Cemetery. Loran Fawcett Funeral Home, Neodesha, was in charge of arrangements.

     2014 OBITUARY: Sharon "Shea" Garriott Mora, of Ponca City, died Monday, April 28, 2014, at Select Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born May 29, 1944, the daughter of Ancil Lee Garriott and Amelia "Kate" Garriott Edwards. She grew up in Kay County on the Chikaskia River west of Ponca City, later moving to the Bois D'arc area and then to Osage County. She was employed at Acme Foundry in Blackwell where she was a crane operator and later was employed at Titus ASC. The last 13 years she was employed for Blue Moon Restaurant. She loved to cook especially Christmas meals and goodies. She enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with friends, family and her dog Cocoa.
      She is survived by her son, Richard Anaya, of Fredonia, Kan.; two granddaughters, one grandson and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lee and Leo Garriott and one aunt.
      A celebration of life will be held at 2 pm Saturday, May 31, at the chapel in the IOOF Cemetery, Ponca City.
