     CENSUS:
     1940 Muncie, Delaware Co, IN census: has Glen Garriott 30, b. OH, Truck Driver-Transfer Company; and Louise Garriott 26, b. IL.

     1960 OBITUARY: Glen L Garriott, 51, 622 N Washington St, died at 6 am Sunday at the Robert Long Hospital, Indianapolis, following an illness of eight weeks. He had been a patient of the hospital for the past three weeks.
     An employee of the Lynch Corp, Anderson, he formerly worked at the Marion Plant before it closed. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Parker, Indiana.
     Survivors include the widow, Louise, at home; one daughter, Penelope, and one son, Richard, both at home; one brother, Frank, of Marion; one sister, Mrs Ted Billiard of Royerton, and the parents, the Rev and Mrs TA Garriott of Dunkirk.... Burial will be in the Grant Memorial Park Cemetery.

     2004 OBITUARY: Sondra Kay Garriott, 64, 4365 N. Cherson Place, died at 10:55 a.m. Sunday at home, surrounded by her loving husband and family. She was born in Marion to the late William Hendricks and Martha (Kaylor) Thompson. She was a 1958 graduate of Marion High School. She married Richard Garriott on June 3, 1961, and they were married for nearly 43 years. He survives.
     She most recently was employed at DeVoe/Bunker Chevrolet for 15 years, beginning in 1989. She previously had been employed with American Security, AAA Chicago Motor Club, Butterworth Industries and Bob Cline Olds. She enjoyed helping others, reading, knitting, antiquing and cooking, especially for her husband and family. Sondra loved and enjoyed her grandchildren.
     Additional survivors include sons, Glen (Rita) and Gregg Garriott, both of Marion; grandchildren, Malissa, Chad and Jason Brady Garriott, all of Marion; stepgrandchildren, Christine Rowland, and Steffanie and Travis Jourdain; stepgreat-grandchildren, Grace Rowland and Klayton Hinshaw; sisters, Francie Ann Thompson, Cincinnati, Carmen (Michael) Jarvis, Fountaintown, and Sheila (Allen) Siders, Inverness, IL.; brothers, Larry (Marisue) Thompson, Diamondhead, MS, and Corky (Denise) Hendricks, Indianapolis.
     Services are at 10 am Wednesday in Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N Baldwin Ave, with the Rev Ben Gray officiating. Burial is in Grant Memorial Park cemetery. Visitation is from 3-8 pm today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Marion General Hospital Oncology Department, 441 N.
