     2000 OBITUARY: Aline Garriott Aldridge , 84, of Carrollton, died Sunday at Tri-County Baptist Hospital, LaGrange. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Sandford "Sank" Aldridge died in 1880. Sons, Bobby Ryan Garriott and Lawrence ''Luke'' Garriott, also preceded her in death.
     Survivors include sons, Wilbert ''Fred'' Garriott and Steve Garriott, both of Carrollton, Joseph A Garriott of Madison, IN, and Estill Garriott of Louisville; a daughter, Evaline Hawkins of Louisville; a sister, Isabelle Johnson of Louisville; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
   Services will be at 1 pm Wednesday at Graham-Dunn Funeral Home, Carrollton. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight and after 10 am Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Carrollton.

     2005 OBITUARY: Wilbert Fredrick "Freddie" Garriott, 65, of Carrollton, Ky., died Monday, June 27, 2005, at his residence. He was born Nov. 3, 1939, in Carrollton, KY. the son of Luke and Aline G Aldridge Garriott. He was raised by his aunt and uncle, Undine and Wilbert Martin. He was a retired insurance agent with Monumental Insurance Co. and was a member of First Baptist Church of Carrollton.
     Surviving are his wife, Barbara Mefford Garriott; two daughters, Robin Garriott Smith of Carrollton, KY, and Rhonda G Smith of Frankfort, KY; three brothers, Joe Garriott of Madison, Steve Garriott of Carrollton, KY, and Estill Garriott of Louisville, KY; one sister, Evaline Hawkins of Louisville, KY, and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father; his mother, Aline G Aldridge McDole; two brothers, Lawrence and Bobby Garriott; and an aunt and uncle.
     Services will be at 1 pm EDT Thursday at First Baptist Church of Carrollton. Burial will be in Carrollton IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm EDT Wednesday at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral home in Carrollton, KY. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the James Graham Brown Cancer Treatment Center, Rotary Scholarship Fund or First Baptist Church of Carrollton.

     2011 OBITUARY: Mr Joseph Allen "Joe" Garriott, age 73, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on Christmas Day in 1937 in Carroll County, Kentucky, the son of the late Luke and Aline McDole Garriott. He was a 1956 graduate of Carroll County High School and was first united in marriage to Martha Ann Welch on May 29, 1959 in Carrollton, Kentucky and to this union came a son and a daughter to bless their home.
     He began a 50 plus year career with the Kroger Company, starting in the Carrollton store working his way up to Head Stock Clerk, retiring in 1999 and he later began working in the Madison Store in 2005 as a Stocker. He was later united in marriage to Nancy Carol Oak Ray at Calvary Baptist Church in Madison, Indiana on October 4, 1999. He liked shuffleboard, fishing, and baseball. Joe was an avid fan of the University of Kentucky Wildcats and enjoyed the basketball program and was a season ticket holder for the football program. Joe was a loving husband and an awesome grandfather. Joe died Monday, April 25, 2011 at 10:31 pm at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
     A LOVING FAMILY: Joseph will be missed by his loving wife: Nancy Carol Oak Ray Garriott of Madison, Indiana; his loving son: David Garriott and his fiancée, Denise Rump of Carrollton, Kentucky; his loving daughter: Annette Mefford and her husband, Kerry of Milton, Kentucky; his loving granddaughter: Shianne Mefford; his loving stepson: Danny Ray and his wife, Sarah of Hanover, Indiana; his loving step grandchildren: Kelli Schmidt and her husband, Allen and Daniel Ray and his wife Jackie; his loving step great grandchildren: Skyler, Gavin, Hunter and Adriana Ray; Bailee Anne and Brodee Schmidt; his loving brothers: Steve Garriott of Carrollton, Kentucky, Estil Garriott and his wife, Gayla of Louisville, Kentucky; his loving sister: Evaline Hoskins of Louisville, Kentucky; several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; Luke and Aline McDole Garriott and his brothers: Luke, Bobby and Freddie Garriott.
     FUNERAL CEREMONY: Funeral services are pending due to the Ohio River Conditions, by Pastor Mike Hamby at Calvary Baptist Church, 2632 Michigan Road, Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Carrollton IOOF Cemetery in Carrollton, Kentucky.

2015 OBITUARY: Stephen Douglas Garriott, 73, passed away Monday Feb 9, 2015 in Edgewood. He was born in Carrollton the son of the late Luke and Aleen McDole Garriott. He was also preceded by four brothers, Wilbert F, Joe, Bobby and Luke Garriott and a sister Evaline Hawkins. He retired as a machine operator for the Rockwell Corporation. Surviving are his daughter Tiffini Faye Garriott of Madison and a brother Estill Garriott of Louisville. A sister-in-law Barbara Garriott and 2 grandchildren also survive. Visitation is Friday Feb. 13 from 10 to 11am with the funeral at 11am at Graham-Dunn Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Carrollton Cemetery.
