     HIS 1ST MARRIAGE: William Cole first married
Jane LAMB. This marriage

ended in divorce on 11 Feb 1947, Tippecanoe Co, IN-- no issue.

     1983 OBITUARY: William S Cole, 61, died at 9 am Saturday, July 30, 1983,

at American International Hospital, Zion, IL. He had been a patient there for

several days and in ill health since January. A native and life resident of

Lafayette, he was a graduate of Jefferson High School and attended Purdue

University. He married Lulu Belle Garriott on June 12, 1948; she survives.

Mr Cole had been a machinist at Purdue University since 1947. He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church of West Lafayette.
     Surviving with his wife are a son, Jeffrey A Cole; his mother, Mrs Mary Emma Cole; and a sister, Winifred (Mrs Phillip) Clark, all of Lafayette. Service Aug 2 at Hippensteel Chapel, Pastor Ernest Clark officiating; internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.

     2009 OBITUARY: Jeffrey A Cole, 51, of Lynchburg, OH, died Saturday, Jan 10, 2009, at his residence. He was born Dec 30, 1957 in Lafayette, and was the son of Lulu Blankenship Cole Suter of St Petersburg, FL, and the late William S Cole.
     Surviving with his mother are his wife, Linda Bales of Lynchburg; five children, Richard Cole, Heather Cole and Travis Calhoun Cole, all of Dayton, IN, and Joshua David Cole (wife Jessica) and Jacob W Cole, both of Lafayette; and three stepchildren, Nicole, Jason and Kristina Bales, all of Lynchburg. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren, Taegan Cole and Devon Cole.
     In accordance to his wishes, Mr Cole was cremated. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. The Davis-Turner Funeral Home, Lynchburg, is serving the family.

     2016 OBITUARY: Suter, Lulu Belle 90, died Feb. 15, 2016 in St. Petersburg, FL. Born Oct 3, 1925 in Benton County, IN to Perry Elmer Garriott (1894-1949) and Iva Fern Blankenship (1903-1993). She was the third of 12 children born to this couple. Survived by six siblings: Donald of Sparks, NV; Joanna Cerny of Crete, NE; Max of Fowler, IN; Janice Winger of Brookston, IN; Makensie Blu of Woodbury, TN; and Douglas of San Antonio, TX. Predeceased by siblings, Betty Tabb, Elvin, Gerald, Gordon, and Franklin. First married to William Sharp Cole (1921-1983). Bill and Lulu worked at Purdue University for many years. They adopted a son, Jeffrey Alan, who gave them four grandchildren: Travis, Joshua, Heather, and Jacob. After her first husband's passing, Lulu married William Hayes Suter (1928-1998). She retired to St Petersburg, FL where she has made many friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Mar 5th, at 1 pm at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, 1718 W 350 North, West Lafayette.
