     CHILDREN: Harold and Myrtle, had twelve children.

     BIOGRAPHY: I, Harold, the eldest son of Simeon and Mae Garriott, was born on the farm on April 12, 1911. I attended Crowfoot School from Grade I to grade IX, and worked on the farm with Dad. I enjoyed outdoor life and did some trapping for furs. I also loved horses and broke many for myself and others.
     I married Myrtle Peppard from Cochrane in 1941. Leaving the farm in 1942, we came to Calgary where daughter Kathleen, was born in 1943, and daughter Audrey was born in 1944. At the time of his birth, a fire destroyed our home and most of our possessions. Grace was born in Calgary in 1947. We then moved to the Tilley-Brooks area, where Gloria was born in 1948. In Ranier, I took a job with the Eastern Irrigation District as ditch-rider, where I worked for five and a half years. Donald was born there in 1950, Olive in 1952, and Peggy, during a raging blizzard, in 1953. The storm was so bad that the doctor come to the house, and the EID caterpillar came after the birth, to take Myrtle and the baby to the hospital.
     We then moved to Brooks, there Laura was born in 1955, then to Redcliff, and later to Edmonton, where I worked for a cement form company. Gordon was born there in 1957, Rhonda in 1959, and Wayne in 1960. We moved to Dawson Creek, BC where we bought a home and lived for six years, and then to Penticton, BC, where we still reside. There are sixteen grandchildren.
