     1917 ADOPTION: On 5 Jul 1917 Marcella Louise Garriott was adopted by John Lantz Hill and his wife Sada L Hill. Her name was changed to -- Marcella Louise HILL [adoption No. 3129, Oklahoma Co, OK], at the age of seven.

     NSDAR: 8 Marcella was accepted for membership in the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, National Number 423738, Feb 1954, based on service of Ambrose Garriott through his son, Simeon. Marcella and her husband lived in California.
