     2005 OBITUARY: Anna Louise Webb, TEXAS CITY — Anna Louise Webb, 86, of Texas City passed away Sunday, October 30, 2005, at Mainland Medical Center. Anna was born July 15, 1919, in Ingleside, Texas to Webster and Merle Collins.
    She has been a resident of Texas City for 56 years. Anna was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. One of her greatest enjoyments was quilting with the ladies at the church, calling themselves the "Flying Needles". She was a member of TOPS in Texas City and The United Methodist Women where she held many officer positions over the several years of her involvement.
     Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Willis T Webb, Sr; and daughter, Billie Louise Doss. Anna is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Jerry Ann Phelps and Thomas of South Houston, Patricia Irene Phelps and Perry of Texas City and Linda Gay Doss and Aron of Texas City; and son-in-law, Edward Doss, Sr of Bedias; sons and daughters-in-law, Willis Tom "Tommy" Webb, Jr and Virginia of Texas City, Rodger L Webb and Mary of Santa Fe; sister Francis Morrow of Corpus Christi; brother, James Leroy Collins of Ingleside; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
     Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, November 1, 2005, from 5 pm until 8 pm at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque. Funeral service will be at 2 pm Wednesday, November 2, 2005, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev Bonnie Eaves and Rev Kenneth Preble officiating. Pallbearers will be Thomas Phelps, Jr, Todd Phelps, Robert Doss, Drew Paul Holbrook, Jr, Kenneth Preble, Jr, Michael Preble, Steven Phelps and Chris Ramirez.
